Very tough or sticky foods can damage crowns and veneers or pull them out of place completely. Try to eat these foods with teeth that haven't been treated. Minimize your intake of foods that stain and try to drink beverages like coffee, tea, and red wine through a straw.
Avoid Bad Habits
Smoking can discolor your teeth after a whitening treatment and using your teeth as tools can damage veneers and crowns. We recommend curbing these bad habits to protect your investment.
Perform Routine Dental Care
Good at-home dental care and regular checkups with your dentist will help prolong the effects of your smile makeover treatments by keeping your natural enamel white and keeping bacteria to a minimum. During regular check-ups, your dental hygienist will be able to give you a more thorough cleaning than you can achieve at home and your dentist can let you know when it's time to replace any restorations.
