The tooth will then be isolated to ensure it stays clean and saliva-free during the process. A small opening is made in the crown of the tooth and using specialized tools, the pulp is removed and the chamber is shaped for filling. Using a biocompatible, rubber-like material, the root canal is filled and temporarily sealed. Following the procedure, you’ll visit us again so that we can place a crown over the tooth to protect it and ensure a healthy smile for years to come!
